Hobbies/Interests:
I enjoy reading inspirational books by Joyce Meyer, Andrew Wommack, and Joel Osteen. I'm also a huge football & baseball fan. I must add that I've always been an entertainment junkie. I love doing media work. Whether it's being on tv, in magazines, and soon to be on radio as well. I love it!

Unleash: What inspired you to become a pet owner?

Rebecca: My dad played a huge part as to why I became a pet owner. He had several Pit Bulls when I was growing up and so did my step dad. I have always loved animals from a young age and I still do today! I am a dog lover and a cat lover as well.  They are adorable, loving and they can't talk back! Well, at least not the way we talk!

Unleash: Being an ambitious model that travels a lot, how are you able to maintain your career and care for Hope?

Rebecca: Even though I travel alot and work on tons of projects, I still make time for my Lil' Pupparoni! I take her outside walking and on the trail that is near my house. That's our girl time. When I am away, I have family care for her just as someone would a child. I have dogsat before for my family and they have for me as well. She has plenty of doggie cousins to go play with when I am gone for a few days. She's a tad bit spoiled!

Unleash: Hollywood trendsetters such as Paris Hilton and others have set the fashionable trend for ladies to become dog owners. What advice would you offer a lady whose interested in becoming a dog owner for the first time?

Rebecca:Don't believe the hype Hollywood creates about animals would be my advice for future lady dog owners. These animals are not accessories, they are living creatures that need to be cared for and loved. Is it cute to dress your little doggie in a jacket and doggie shoes? Yes. Is it fun to carry around a small dog? Yes. But they are living creatures with needs and vet bills to care for them properly.  Pets should be treated as family. You should want to care for them for life and not just for the trend. So many dogs get abandoned because people dont realize the real responsibility that comes with owning a pet. I would tell them to consider a dog that suits their lifestyle and not to get a dog based solely on Hollywood hype. They definetely deserve better!

Unleash: Do you have any interest in getting Hope a companion?

Rebecca: Maybe. If so, I would want a boy although Hope's not spayed. I would love for Hope to have a boyfriend, but she is so little and I'm scared of her getting preggors! The process for small dogs to give birth can be harmful to the mom as well as the pups if not monitored and cared for. Especially Chihuahuas. Even though I'd love that, I have no plans for her to mate, so I just feel avoiding her having a boyfriend is best. But we'll see. It's not totally ruled out.

Dogs turn in circles before lying down because in the wild this instinctive action turns long grass into a bed.
