The dog days of summer started off with a barking bang as more than 200 celebrity dog lovers gathered in Tinsel Town to coddle their canines during Buddha Bark’s WonderPark Event series earlier this month.
The cutest of canines and their celebrity owners shared a day of indulgence at Hollywood’s posh Chaz Dean Studio & Zen Garden. Drawing such high-profile celebrity personalities as True Blood’s Kristin Bauer, Academy Award nominee Linda Blair and feature film star Brandon Molale, the two-day event introduced fun and innovative solutions to help dogs and their pet parents live richer, more integrated lives. Showcases such as teeth cleaning for dogs, dog grooming, gourmet vegan dog cuisine and even massages for dogs and their owners are only a small part of the fun-filled weekend.
Other celebrities on tap for the lineup of events were TV personalities Hal Sparks, Kate Linder, Lee Reherman, Marisa Ramirez, Patrika Darbo and Catherine Bach of Daisy Duke fame. Even celebrity blogger Perez Hilton came out to pamper his pristine pooch, Teddy Hilton, from head to paw.
Founded by certified Canine Massage Therapist and animal wellness expert Madison Svensson, Buddha Bark is the most trusted source for canine wellness. A member of the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork and the Animal Wellness Association, Madison uses her events to continue to revolutionize dog products and services.
Other event highlights included doggie fashion shows, dog agility demonstrations, animal communicator readings and complimentary hair cleansings and blowouts courtesy of Chaz Dean Stylists. Proceeds from the event will be used to benefit Best Friends Animal Society, Much Love Animal Rescue and the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation.
After this event, a dog’s life will never be the same again.
